Everything you need to know about OneLast.Day.
What will the document include?
Every document includes a role overview, key responsibilities, active projects (with status and next steps), key relationships, regular meetings and cadences, tools and access to hand over, critical institutional knowledge, and a first 30 days priority list for your successor. The Detailed template also adds an executive summary and an open questions section for things the successor should investigate further.
What are the four templates?
To the Point: a tight, scannable bullet point summary. Detailed: full sections with context and narrative depth, best for complex roles. Corporate: formal language suited to large organisations. Narrative: a warm, conversational tone written as if directly to your successor. After paying once you can switch between templates and regenerate without paying again.
Do I pay before or after I see the document?
You see a preview of your document, including the key contacts and projects the AI identified, before you pay. Payment is required to unlock the full document and export it.
What data does OneLast.Day access?
We access your Google Calendar (event titles and attendee email addresses from the last 180 days) and your Google Contacts (names and email addresses, used to identify colleagues and stakeholders). We do not access Gmail or read your Drive files. If you export to Google Docs, we request permission to create a single file in your Drive. Your calendar and contact data are never stored on our servers after processing.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use Google's official OAuth system, the same technology used by thousands of apps. We only request the minimum access needed, process your data to generate your document, and do not store your raw Google data after processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do I need a Google Workspace account?
No. A personal Google account works fine. OneLast.Day uses Google Calendar and Contacts, which are available on all Google accounts. Microsoft 365 and Outlook support is on our roadmap.
What if I haven't been in my role very long?
The AI works with whatever data is available. If your calendar history is short, the clarifying questions become more important. They are your chance to fill in context the data cannot infer. The output will still be useful, just leaning more on what you tell us than on pattern analysis.
How long does it take?
The whole process (connecting your account, answering questions, and generating the document) takes around 2 minutes.
Can I edit the document before downloading?
Yes. After generation you can edit the document inline before exporting.
What formats can I export to?
PDF, Word (.docx), and Google Docs.
What if I'm not happy with the output?
You can edit the document inline or switch to a different template and regenerate. If the document fails to generate entirely due to a technical error, you're entitled to a full refund. Contact support@afterbuck.com within 7 days.
